Industrial Visit by the Students of Department of Business Administration (BBA; 44th Batch; Finance), Premier University.
On Saturday, 29th November 2025, the students of the BBA (44th batch, 7th semester, Finance Discipline) at Premier University participated in a highly informative and engaging industrial visit to RSB Industrial Ltd. The purpose of this educational tour was to bridge the gap between classroom-based theoretical learning and real-world industrial practices by exposing students to actual production systems and operational frameworks.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to explore various sections of the production unit, including cutting, sewing, printing, finishing, packaging, quality control labs, and warehousing. They were able to closely observe how modern garment manufacturing functions from the start to the finish. This hands-on exposure allowed them to understand not only the technical intricacies of the textile and apparel industry but also how managerial and financial decisions are executed on the production floor. The experience enriched their academic knowledge and provided valuable insight into industry-standard practices and technologies.
The visiting team was warmly received by Mr. Anjan Shekhar Das, Managing Director, and Ms. Moumita Das, Factory Chief of RSB Industrial Ltd., who extended a heartfelt welcome to both the faculty members and students. Their hospitality greatly contributed to the success of the visit.
Throughout the tour, the students were guided and briefed by Mr. Chinangshu Ranjan Nath, Manager of HR & Admin, Mr. Goutom Dhar, Manager of Industrial Engineering, and Mr. Tauhidul Islam, Senior Executive, HR & Admin. They offered comprehensive explanations on technical processes, operational workflows, workplace safety, and industry compliance protocols. Their professional insights helped the students grasp the practical challenges and requirements of managing a modern manufacturing unit.
The visit was coordinated and supervised by a team of respected faculty members, including Associate Professor Mr. Sujan Kanti Biswas, Ms. Tasnim Sultana, Dr. Tasnim Uddin Chowdhury, and Assistant Professor Mr. Md. Touhidul Islam Chowdhury, Mr. Syed Moinur Rashid, and Ms. Ela Saha. They provided academic direction and explained the industry-relevant applications of what students have learned in their finance and management courses.
